Round Mountain

Elevation Gain: 656 m

Difficulty Level: Easy (in the summer), Intermediate (in the Winter because of the snow)

Round Mountain is in Garibaldi Provincial Park. The trail head starts at diamond head trail head. You may need tire chains to drive to the trail head in the Winter if it’s snow in the last 2 KM of the service road. Otherwise you can park 2 km down and walk the extra length to get to the trail head.

This mountain is half way to Elfin lake therefore most of the people are going to Elfin lake and skip the mountain. For that reason, in the summer season the trail leading to the mountain may be overgrown. In the Winter, you will need at least snow shoes. Views on the top are good.
