Bushtits are small body birds and are very active. Their mostly gray body blends in with their environment very nicely. For the above reasons, it’s very difficult to photograph bushtits. I was lucky to find a bushtit nest right next to a local trail. There were a pair of bushtits near the nest and were building their nest.
