Following photos were taken during a couple whale watching trips in Vancouver Island. One is in Salish Sea. Another is in Northern Vancouver Island. We saw several humpback whales in 3+ hours. I didn’t know before the trip that humpback whale had disappeared in Salish Sea for 90 years and didn’t come back to the sea until 1990’s. Since then, sighting of them has been steadily increasing year over year.
