Sensoji (浅草寺), is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is the oldest temple in Tokyo. One of the must see attractions in Tokyo. It’s popular and famous for not only its colourful gates, elaborate temple buildings and 5-level pagoda, it also has a lot of food stalls and shops located along the streets that leading to the main hall of the temple. It’s always crowded during day time when the shops are open. The temple is conveniently located at walking distant of many subway lines.
